We always knew we wanted the wedding to feel more like an adventure than a production, so getting married in Antigua felt exactly right. We're excited to celebrate with the people closest to us, trade a ballroom for the Caribbean, and then wake up the next morning already on our honeymoon. It may be the easiest commute from wedding to honeymoon we've ever planned.

From "I Do" to Honeymoon

The best part about getting married here is that the scenery doesn't disappear when the ceremony ends. Dickenson Bay gives us a long stretch of white sand and Caribbean water, while the resort shifts between tropical gardens and the Mediterranean-inspired side overlooking the property. After the wedding, we're looking forward to trading the schedule for beach walks, paddleboards, and a few days where being newly married is the only thing on the agenda.

Q&A

We wanted somewhere beautiful enough to feel special without needing to overcomplicate everything. Dickenson Bay gives us the beach wedding setting we imagined, but Antigua also feels like somewhere we'll actually want to explore once the wedding shoes come off.

Schedule of Events

Day 1 - Welcome to Antigua
Meet us at Dickenson Bay and officially switch to island time.

Day 2 - Beach Day
Sunshine, swimming, and very little wedding talk.

Day 3 - Wedding Day - 4:30 PM
The reason we all came. Bring happy tears.

Day 3 - Dinner & Toasts
We're married. Now somebody hand us a drink.

Day 4 - Honeymoon Begins
Everyone else can make plans. We're sleeping in.

Day 5 - Out on the Water
Paddleboards, kayaks, and a little newlywed competition.
